Regional Resources

7 Rivers Alliance: A tri-state leadership council that boosts economic growth in Southwest Wisconsin, Southeast Minnesota and Northeast Iowa. The group brings together public and private resources to forge entrepreneurial growth.

Centergy: This group promotes collaboration among private and public-sector leaders in the five counties of Central Wisconsin that make up the Centergy Region: Adams, Lincoln, Marathon, Portage and Wood. It partners with a variety of higher education institutions, associations of commerce, public economic development partners and the State of Wisconsin.

Grow North: Grow North fosters economic development in the eight counties of Northern and Northeastern Wisconsin, including Forest, Florence, Marinette, Lincoln, Langlade, Oconto, Oneida and Vilas. One of its major focuses is workforce development.

New North, Inc.: A 501(c)(3) nonprofit, economic development and regional marketing organization nurturing collaboration among private and public sector leaders throughout the 18 counties of Northeast Wisconsin, which is known as the New North region.

Madison Region Economic Partnership (MadREP): MadREP serves as the economic development agency for the eight-county Madison region of Southcentral Wisconsin. Among other services, it fosters development of target industries, including advanced manufacturing and map industry supply chains to identify and address gaps, disconnects and opportunities.

Milwaukee 7: The Milwaukee 7 was formed to create an economic development platform for the seven counties of Southeastern Wisconsin: Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Walworth, Washington and Waukesha. The group’s mission is to attract, retain and grow diverse talent and businesses.

Momentum West: This regional economic development organization serves Barron, Clark, Chippewa, Dunn, Eau Claire, Pierce, Pepin, Polk, Rusk and St. Croix counties.

It utilizes partnerships and resources to grow the regional economy of West Central Wisconsin.

Prosperity Southwest: Prosperity Southwest provides resources for the Southern Wisconsin region, including Grant County, Green County, Crawford County, Lafayette County and Richland County. The group’s work focuses on education, entrepreneurship and manufacturing.

Visions Northwest: This regional economic group covers the Northwest Wisconsin area. It receives funding from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) which it uses to address the development needs of regional projects and support regional economic development.
